   INNOVATIVE LESSON PLAN CLASS  As part of our B. Ed curriculum, we had to take a class in an innovative way during our phase 2 school internship programme .  My innovative idea was teaching the concept the "Bird Problem" in the chpater "Equations" through a  comic strip . Comic strips are something that the children love to read. As a kid, I was always loved to read kalikudukka and balarama. Inspired from it, I invented such an idea of integrating comic strip to teaching. I took the class on 25/07/2023 with the help of innovative lesson plan which I prepared in advance.

  Week 7 (24/07/2023- 28/07/2023) Successfully completed seventh week of my teaching practice. There were a lot of academic related things happened in this week. The first day, that is 24/07/2023, in the forenoon itself we got free period. I went to 6C in the second period. Aiswarya also joined me. Students are very active culturally. Almost all students sang songs when we asked for. There were a small kacheri section itself happened.  It was a very entertaining and active session for both of us. I got each period in 8H and 8B.  Also, went for free periods in the afternoon to 8H. We are getting towards the end of the phase, so the works and its related things making as busier. In the second day, that is 25/07/2023, started with morning prayer . I took my innovative lesson plan in the class.   Week 6 (17/07/2023- 21/07/2023) Successfully completed sixth week of my teaching practice. Since, Monday and Tuesday were holidays   I got only 2 class this week in 8H to teach. In the third day, that is 19/07/2023, started with morning prayer. Nothing special happened. I had only 2 periods in this day that to in 8B. Conducted exam and they doesn't perform well. They all are like writing the exam for my sake.  Also, I went to 8H to give exam papers and to discuss answers in the afternoon. In the fourth day, that is 20/07/2023, started with morning prayer .  It was getting tough to teach in8B. To teach in 8B is like riding in a Roller-coaster. Some students don't know to read, write and some doesn't even know write equal to symbol. Completed the last question of the chapter Equal triangles in 8H and started new chapter, Equations in 8B. I n the fifth day, that is 21/07/2023, started with special morning assembly with reference to the special occasion of Moon Landing Day. S

  Week 5 (10/07/2023- 14/07/2023) Successfully completed fifth week of my teaching practice. I got only 3 class in 8H to teach. Since, the model exams were started it was a busy week also as we are assigned to monitor the classes. Also, inauguration of mathematics, physics and social science club are also observed. The first day, that is 10/07/2023, nothing special happened on this day. I got each period in 8H and 8B.  Also, went for free periods. We are getting towards the end of the phase, so the works and its related things making as busier. In the second day, that is 11/07/2023, started with morning prayer . Teacher came for our last observation. She told   many good comments about my class. Still, I've this thing in my mind that it was not what I expect. Because I only able to present the ppt using laptop as there was no electricity. 8B students are getting better day by day compared to their initial days.  Discussed about conducting programmes in the coming week with other tr

     Week 4 (3/07/2023- 7/07/2023) Successfully completed fourth week of my teaching practice. It's a very rough and harsh week. Within the chaos of school buzzing, we have learned a lot of things. The first day, that is 03/07/2023, we, the mathematics trainee teachers assigned with an extra duty of working out previous year question papers of class during free period and after lunch break. Initially we were given with 3 sets of question papers later one more set was given. Then, as usual I went to the class and taught them problems related to the session. Because it was raining heavily it is difficult for 8B students to see the board since the class has minimal facility. That is, the class doesn't have any basic facilities like fan and light. A kind of ignorance to them. The students are very vigilant and most of them love to study.
