Reflective Journal Week 3: P2

   

Week 3 (26/06/2023- 30/06/2023)

Successfully completed third week of my teaching practice. We got only 3 working days in this week. Because of Eid holidays.

The first day, that is 26/06/2023, started with Anti- drug campaign special assembly. Assembly observed many programs conducted by both us and school authorities. In the afternoon, an awareness class for each class were arranged by SPC students and we coordinated it and helped them by accompanying the and gave some class related to the anti-drug campaign. After that a rally were made done by SPC and we also joined them and with the help of students we distributed "lekhu Lekha" that were prepared by us on the occasion of the day before hand. The rally was a memorable one because we went outside the school along with students and coordinated them which was a special experience. Then as usual I went to my assigned classes as per the timetable and taught the chapter equal triangles. Apart from this, the day well spent as usual but taking regular classes and by engaged in the free period to other classes.

In the second day, that is 27/06/2023, started with morning prayer. The day were bit special because it was my birthday. When I entered the staffroom, everyone wished me. Even though we got completely wet in the rain it doesn't make me feel sad on my special day. No special programs were carried out on the day. I went to 8H and 8B as regular period. And taught them balance portion. It is getting little difficult to make the 8B students to get on the track because they are not completing any work and resubmitting the completed notebooks. So, I have to think about some ideas on that course.

The third and fourth day, that is, 28/06/023 and 29/06/023 the school was closed because of Eid Day Celebration.

In the fifth day, that is 30/06/2023, the day started with lot of chaos that school want us to come on Saturday but according to the order from our college principal we have to present every Saturday in college. So, Shihayez sir asked for principal number, but he got rejected politely by Ma'am. From the first period onwards, I got busy with my schedule. I went to 6E to take attendance then in the second period went to 8H in the free period and taught some basic tings related to the topic, given notes and given some useful exam tips. Then again went to 8H as per regular timetable and taught the balance portion. The classes were going as I were planned. I think I would be able to complete the prescribed portion on time. Went to 8B as per the regular timetable. Since in the previous day I wouldn't be able to take a class there because some unexpected seminar, I am lagging behind one class there and not getting any free period also.
