Reflective Journal Week 6

 

Week 6 (9/01/2023- 13/01/2023)

Successfully completed sixth week of my teaching practice. A lot of things happened this week.

 The first day, that is 9/01/2023, started with a special assembly of distributing badges to the students who had secured first and second positions in the Christmas exam. First day I got two periods in 8A. Also, students get vaccinated, and we assisted the health workers.

In the second day, that is 10/01/2023, nothing special happened. This day I got 2 periods in 8A. Also, on this day we were assigned with the duty of monitoring the high school wing. Since the projector is not working, I informed it to Yasin teacher, and he said he'll look into it. We were informed that there will be a Parents meeting tomorrow so no regular classes in the afternoon.

In the third day, that is 11/01/2023, the day started with morning assembly conducted by 9B students. I got a free period in 8A.  In the afternoon, other classroom teachers prepared everything for the parents meeting and we sat on the staffroom and completed our works. When we just wandered around the school to see the process, there were a lot of emotions flowing through each student's face.

In the fourth day, that is 12/01/2023 I got only one period in 8A and with the help of PPT, I taught them the topic area of rhombus. In the third period, we handled the PT period for 8A class. Also, we got another opportunity of handling the PT Period of class 5A and practiced them some exercises. Since, we decided to conduct assembly by ourselves tomorrow, we discussed about it and distributed the duties.

In the fifth day, that is 13/01/2023 I got 1 free period in 8A even though there were no period for them as per the regular timetable. The day started with our special assembly, that was completely carried by us. We were so happy that all of us presented the whole assembly so smoothly and we get appreciation from HM, other faculties as well as from students. I have to present the pledge and I did a wonderful job.
