Reflective Journal Week 1

Week 1 (26/10/2022- 29/10/2022)

Successfully completed first week of my teaching practice. Always reached the school at 9:25 am. Starting first 2 days was youth festival celebration, so I don't get any chance to take classes. But I learned many things like how to manage children and handle some emergency situations with children. Those moments are really precious. I terribly missed my good olden school days. Other teachers in the school are so friendly and cooperative. They mingled with us very freely and treated us like normal teachers and not like trainee teachers. Also, they given us a general idea of the school and the students. Students are so mischievous that we need to take extra effort to handle them. We got our timetable on the second day. In the third day, I was given substitution classes to class 10 A and 8 A, as I don't have any periods on Friday. It was little tough to handle them in the starting, because they were really noisy and not interested in the class. But after some time, I think, I managed them really well. Also, from the second day onwards we distributed noon meal to the students. The scout and guide, spc all are working very well in the school. This Saturday is a working day for schools because of Diwali leave and I got 2 classes in 8A. It was little tough to handle them. Some students are obedient, but some are extreme opposites.

Each moment that I spend there, was a new experience to me. Hope for the best experiences in the coming days.
